I've been fortunate to work in and around non-profits for nearly 20 years. From 2001 as an AmeriCorps NCCC member, to my current role at the Benton Community Foundation, I have traveled all over the country and served alongside amazing people while helping communities. I've supported communities in West Virginia to improve their regional economy, led disaster rebuilding efforts in Mississippi and Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Ike and for 10+ years have worked in Oregon to feed, house, and support people who are in poverty or experiencing homelessness. I was extremely fortunate to direct the fundraising efforts of Community Outreach Inc. COI has an amazing 45 year plus track record of serving people in need throughout the mid-Willamette Valley. At COI I focused on creating long lasting relationships between our community and the organization. I oversaw the agency’s grant writing efforts, statistics, volunteers, fundraising events, website, social media presence, liaison with the media, and led our annual donor solicitation efforts. These tasks were coordinated with the agency’s leadership, including the Board of Directors, in an effort to raise the necessary funding that supported COI’s mission of helping people to help themselves lead healthy and productive lives.
Community Relations Administrator
NeighborImpact is a Community Action Agency located in Central Oregon that provides services to people experiencing poverty in Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson County.
