Being a free lance designer I expanded my knowledge with Photoshop and other Adobe programs. Designed local wine lists, table tent, menu insert, company business card and wedding brochure. Doing all of these projects I was able to expand my creative knowledge and I picked up how to look at a product from a customer’s point of view. These traits are important to have as a graphic designer.

As a bartender, I educated customers on wines and the wine making process. Being the assistant production manager as well, I new much of the process from hands on experience. I also had various manual labor tasks involving: cleaning, keeping sales items fully stocked, preparing product, tending to vines, and some grounds keeping duties. Skills required at this position were: public speaking, customer service, operating pallet-jacks, forklifts, hose pumps, an assembly line, and other wine making equipment.
