My team’s campaigns were to advise businesses on new Telstra telecommunication services. It was essential to be a competitive, results orientated team player, I was promoted to team leader which meant extra responsibilities such as training new staff and closing deals on their behalf.

My time in this position gave me a broadened knowledge of Offshore Savings plans and the internal teamwork needed for success. My personal learning curve increased radically in my time at FPIL, being a fast learner helped immensely in regards to IT training. I have developed a strong understanding of Microsoft Access Databases and many additional supporting systems.The position entailed locating potential customers’ source of funds to ensure against money laundering as well as other duedillegence checks. Any oversight or error would have time consuming and potential costly implications so a first rate attention to detail was needed at all times. Liasing with policy applicants, Brokers, and other internal departments was essential in processing customer’s applications. An excellent customer-service mentality was needed when discussing sensitive information regarding underwriting and source of funds with potential clients and other existing financial institutions.
