I have operations responsibility for the following Houston-area IOD assets:• Alvin: One Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) unit – Products: multiple grades of LAB• Clear Lake: One ethylene oxide unit and two connected ethylene glycol units – Products: PEO, MEG, DEG, and TEG• Dayton: Two alkoxylation units and multiple blenders and filtration units – Products: nonionic surfactants (EO, PO, EO/PO, both block and random copolymers)• Pasadena: Two surfactants units, Anionic and Cationic, and nonionic: Ethoxylation area consists of two state of the art ethoxylation reactors. Specialties area consists of multiple glass-lined kettles and blenders. Products: EO-based nonionic surfactants, amine oxides, phosphate esters and blends thereof.The combined OPEX budget is $155 MM. The CAPEX, ReCat and Turnaround budget is $57 MM. Total headcount is approximately 200.Notable accomplishments include:• All sites lost time injury (LTI) free for at least one year (several units significantly longer),• Successful integration of legacy Oxiteno USA LLC assets into the IOD portfolio,• Successful capacity-opening product rationalization across all IDO USA assets, and• Bult a sub-regional organization that includes: maintenance, asset integrity and mechanical integrity, logistics and engineering.

Responsibilities include Environment, Health, Safety & Security, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and Engineering for the US Operation. Responsible for a team of ~80, annual expense budget of $25 MM, and capital budget of $5-7 MM. Notable accomplishments: • Recruited and put in place a new Leadership Team• More than three years and 1,000,000 man-hours without a lost time injury (LTI), 30 months with the new leadership team in place.• Managed a six-month OSHA investigation (commencing eight days after my start date) with minimal business impact. • Reduced expense spending by $9 MM in the first year and $2 MM in the second year. Year three (2021) was skewed by extensive spend on freeze recovery.• More than doubled ethoxylation throughput (140% increase) • Lead the organization through the “Big Freeze” in 2021 accident-free and returning to manufacturing before our competitors that experienced the same event.

In addition to my role as Research and Technology Director I was elevated to the Vice President level and appointed as an Officer of the Company. In this role I have been responsible for reviewing and approving many commercial contracts as well as Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDA) and Non-Analyze Agreements (NA). In my capacity as Company Officer I have worked closely with our Akzo Legal Group (ALG), Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA), and Communications departments to address a variety of issues ranging from proper communication with the EPA on TSCA Reform matters to mitigating potential entanglement in law suits against ancillary parties and negative press thereof.

I am managing ~75 Scientists, Engineers, Technologists, and Support Staff located across five locations (NY, NJ, TN, Mexico City, and Brazil) with a total annual spend of ~$23,000,000. We have a highly complex business model with ongoing research, development and innovation activities in more than 35 markets. We have recently launched many new, innovative products in diverse market segments such as Personal Care, Hard Surface Cleaning, Lube and Fuel Additives, Oilfield Operations, Paints and Coatings, Electronics, Asphalt and Additives for Agricultural Products.
