Project manager for a general contractor overseeing a $2 million upgrade for Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) in Kananaskis Country. The project consists of construction two, 4,000 SF handicap accessible cabins near the beautiful Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Created project baseline schedule, developed traffic control and site safety plans. Headed the startup of the project, managed budgets and material purchases.

Key member of the Mica Creek Unit 5 & 6 and Switchgear project teams. Collaborated with work package managers, project managers, external consultants, and prime contractors on identifying project and portfolio risks to developed mitigation or treatment plans. Created and managed the RFP, specifications, and contract development of a multi-year, $4 million contract.Project 1: Mica Unit 5 and 6 Project (Mica Creek Generating Station) consisted of installing two new turbine generators with approximately 1,000 megawatts of additional capacity. Project period: 2011-2015. Estimated value of project: $700 Million.Project 2: Mica Switchgear Project (Mica Creek Generating Station) consisted of installing gas insulated switchgear systems to support six (four existing, plus two new) turbine generators with approximately 2,800 megawatts of total capacity. Project period: 2011-2015. Estimated value of project: $200 million.

One of three on the project management team overseeing daily construction activities on various projects ranging in cost from $30 million to $53 million. Created and updated project schedules, tracked expenditures, and managed daily activities for 80+ field personnel. Designed excavation, shoring and sewer bypass plans while coordinating permitting applications for excavations, hydrostatic tests, sewer bypass, and traffic control. Prepared submittal applications, purchase agreements, change orders, RFI's, as-builts, and final close out reports. Performed quantity take-offs and material estimates for existing and prospective projects.Project 1: Brushy Creek Pipeline No. 3 consisted of 20,000 LF of welded steel (WSP) and reinforced concrete pipe, constructed for the California Department of Water Resources. The project traversed environmentally sensitive areas, active ranch lands, was in the immediate proximity of large wind turbines, and incorporated slopes of in excess of 20 degrees. Project period: 2007-2009.Project 2: Freeport Regional Water Pipeline Project, Segment No. 2 consisted of 40,000 LF of 84" WSP, valving structures, sanitary/storm sewer upgrades, and five miles of road construction. Project period: 2008-2009.Project 3: Alameda Siphon Project No. 4 consisted of 6,000 LF of 66" WSP and mixing chambers for San Francisco Public Utility Commission. Project period: 2009-2011.

Lead coordinator on small project team that developed and updated project schedules on residential and commercial projects. Assumed the role of project manager for a $750,000 custom island renovation project.

Assistant superintendent on a $93M wastewater treatment facility renovation project for the City of Waterbury, Connecticut.
