64 degrees is a fine dining restaurant with a great reputation so my job is ensuring the business is running at full capacity & smoothly with all standards met on a consistent basis. Since taking the position at The New Club I have used my knowledge and skills to implement some changes to help the business. Most notably our food drinks and service ratings on Google reviews ensuring consistency along with trebling our covers on Sunday roast.The New club is now regarded as one of the best Sunday roasts in Brighton.Some of my daily and weekly duties are detailed below:Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.Estimates food and beverage costs.Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.Collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menus.Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the regional manager.Performs other duties as assigned.

When I started at Giggling Squid Brighton in 2018 the restaurant was performing below average and received a 3 star food hygiene rating.
