Engaged in the design and engineering of onshore oil and gas pipelines and facilities. Responsibilities include technical quality assurance, construction support, field engineering, piping and procurement specification preparation, and directing and reviewing personnel. Lead Mechanical Engineer on several projects including:• Carbon dioxide injection – Detailed design of pipeline and equipment, county drainage ditch permitting, construction and procurement specifications, HDD design, material review and approval, field engineering support.• Enhanced oil recovery facility development and expansion – Detailed design of equipment, construction and procurement specifications, torque specifications, internal coating specifications, material review and approval, survey coordination, field engineering support.• Carbon dioxide trunk line piping systems expansion – Detailed design of piping, construction and procurement specifications, material review and approval, field engineering support.• Production gathering line and well expansion – Detailed design of pipeline, county drainage ditch and TxDOT highway crossing permitting, construction and procurement specifications, HDD design, material review and approval, field engineering support.• Production emulsion bulk lines – Detailed design of pipeline, alignment sheets, survey coordination, pipeline construction and procurement specifications, material review and approval, field engineering support, HDD design, internally lined pipe procurement and installation specifications, hydrostatic test procedure and water disposal permit coordination.• Natural Gas Compressor Station – Detailed design of equipment, tanks, and station relief valve study. Material procurement specifications and MTR review and approval.• Crude oil pipeline surge analysis and DRA optimization – sized relief valves and recommended MOV closure times for surge protection. Provided optimization solutions for existing pipeline reverse flow conditions.
