• Inspect, test and repair machine fleet as required.• Complete LOLER thorough examinations.• Attend Breakdowns on site when needed.• Order spare parts for machines for repairs and/or stock.• Raise chargeable repair invoices when necessary.

• Assist workshop manager with the daily operational tasks of the depot.• Inspect, test and repair machine fleet as required.• Manage customer breakdowns and LOLER Defect reports• Manage servicing schedules, manufacturer recalls and modifications. • Prepare dispatch and return paperwork.• Process breakdown paperwork and raise charges as required.• Deputise for workshop manager during periods of absence.

Manage junior level employees including regular appraisals, grievances and disciplinary proceedings where required as well as responsibility for interviewing prospective employees for the workshop.Manage targets, budgets and stock levels for the workshop. Perform LOLER inspections on hire fleet for the area. Complete services, inspections and repairs on both the hire fleet and customers equipment. Perform warranty repairs on small plant equipment (including Karcher, Flymo, McCulloch and Ryobi)
