- Responsible for the full lifecycle of the settlement process for the physical commodity Supply and Offtake, Natural Gas and Power businesses.- Built settlement models within Excel and worked with Sales, Trading and the client on refining the models and providing multiple iterations as needed during the onboarding process. - Managed runbooks, test scripts, UAT testing and similar deal-specific project management roles to ensure a seamless onboarding process and full life-cycle efficiency.- Liaise with Sales team and clients through the life of S&O deals and structure financing permutations and cash flows, including daily/monthly reconciliations of inventory files for crude, gasoline, jet fuel and diesel.- Built complex financial models for Natural Gas Asset Management Agreements (AMA), including the customization of various inventory reports, pricing complexities and profit share agreements.- Built and managed unwind process for client’s financial positions to meet the new Dodd-Frank requirements (Part 43 and 45) and ultimately led to a fully automated process handled by Sales/Trading.- Managed a large-scale overhaul to our Natural Gas tax exemption certification process by creating a database for all tax exemptions and, partnering with Tech, created a SharePoint tracking system to more easily determine, based on trading activity, which clients required exemption certificates.
