Atlantic Group specialized in products and services for the water industry, including volume water meter installation services. During my time at the Company I was responsible for the development and implementation of management and work order control systems. It was during my time with the Atlantic Group that I was transferred to Canada to establish the company in Canada, under the name Atlantic Utility Services Canada Inc, that became Canadian Water Services Inc. During 1996 to 1998 I also spent two years in Mexico City managing a joint venture between Atlantic Group, United Utilities International and Groupa Gutso, setting up the infrastructure for the installation of some 400,000 Badger Water Meters with the Trace Radio Read AMR System.

My 6 year Apprenticeship consisted of on the job training and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering courses at the University of Manchester. My final area of expertise was the design, building and commissioning of Robotic Assembly machines.
