Technical lead for Reinforcement Evaluation Laboratory and liaison between lab personnel and internal customers. Represented lab team in various cross-functional projects and dealing with external suppliers, customers, and equipment vendors. Performed materials testing development, international process standardization, equipment releases and training, managing test request system, conducting safety assessments and improvements, and ensuring quality testing results. Completed the timely technical release of upgraded and new lab equipment under budget. Completed thermocouple release work for new improved curing molds and presses to support development and globalization of test procedures. Led the technical integration and adoption of reinforcement testing methodologies from the Cooper Tires acquisition. Devised and communicated return to work guidelines and safety procedures after COVID-19 shutdown for lab personnel with no infections between lab personnel.

Managed technical aspects of new material and second source approval programs to support Goodyear’s material innovation and sustainability goals. Supported the global reinforcements team through functional and fundamental projects and learned from technical experts to further personal subject matter expertise. Completed the technical release of projects for supply chain diversification on time. Designed, planned, and completed individual projects to increase company fundamental knowledge.

Managed shift safety, biorefining operations, coordinating with plant operators and lab personnel, ethanol distillation, and control room logbook. Conducted and documented operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and post-trial control systems’ data analysis. Completed 21 trial runs with a range of alternative biomass feedstock sources and types for fuel additive ethanol. No serious injuries ever occurred.
