About Christopher Wells

I've worked for several years as a Data Scientist in NASA JPL's Artifical Intelligence Group. I collaborated on the development of the automated planning and scheduling software for several NASA missions that are currently in operations (including OCO-3 and ECOSTRESS).I have experience in developing scheduling algorithms that utilize classical AI techniques to allow for more optimal usage of spacecraft instruments and resources to obtain more and better science data while satisfying operational constraints. I also have performed various long term observation coverage analyses in order to help planned missions to make better choices of potential mission architectures.
