Production Manager
Current- Manage and execute the full-cycle production process for the world’s first neoprene up-cycling company. - Increased candidate satisfaction by redesigning the client experience to include higher product engagement and structure – implemented new approaches backed by research and marketing trends. - Collaborate with managers to formulate objectives and understand business requirements. - Monitor production to resolve issues, supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers, etc.) - Estimate costs and prepare budgets, determine the number of necessary resources, approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment, etc. - Ensure output meets quality standards to enforce health and safety precautions. - Interacts with peers and related staff across all departments on the implementation of fulfillment strategies, and organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. - Conducts employee performance reviews and implements corrective action as appropriate. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: - Scale a small business from 2 employees to a team of 20 employees in under two years.- Create a functional production system, team, and standard operating procedures for all departments and services. - Create an e-commerce website to amplify sales and open new paths of revenue, exceeding yearly production output. - Surpass goals in research and development to streamline production for increased ROI and better customers satisfaction. - Secure a stable pipeline of materials and general supplies during the pandemic while maintaining budget and supply chain timelines.
