We founded BCA to provide a game-changing middle school experience for families in the Buffalo/Niagara region.Buffalo Creek Academy (BCA) is non-profit , co-ed, privately operated Cambridge International School and a public charter school, serving 5th-8th grades. As a Cambridge International School, BCA offers a curriculum that combines New York State English, Math, Science, and Social Studies with PE, Art & Design, and Digital Literacy from Cambridge Assessment International Education.We opened our doors in August 2020 with our inaugural class of fifth graders and sixth graders. We became a full-blown, 4 year Middle School (5th-8th grade) in 2022. BCA graduated its first class of 8th graders in 2023.

We established the BCA Cadet Squadron (NY-824) to bring this national youth development program (Civil Air Patrol) to our charter school (BCA) for our students and staff.As a Total Force partner and auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, Civil Air Patrol is there to search for and find the lost, provide comfort in times of disaster and work to keep the homeland safe. Its 56,000 members selflessly devote their time, energy, and expertise toward the well-being of their communities, while also promoting aviation and related fields through aerospace/STEM education and helping shape future leaders through CAP’s cadet program. We founded PTC to provide transportation services to our charter school (BCA) and other schools.Path Carver Transportation, LLC. (PTC), is a transportation services company providing flexible field-trip, after-school, and athletic transportation services to charter schools and independent schools in WNY. Friends of Buffalo Creek, Inc. is the sole member (owner) of Path Carver Transportation, LLC. (EIN: 88-1955986).

SRIS-Chicago (Silk Road International School Chicago) is a non-profit private school. We serve families in the Cook County suburbs area with a curriculum that combines Cambridge International + Illinois Standards. SRIS-Chicago’s design will also feature a special focus on the unique Turkic cultures of Central Asia. As co-founder, my responsibilities involved designing the school program, drafting the overall program narrative/concept, and operationalizing/establishing the school & daycare plans approved by the Board of Trustees. This included attaining Cambridge approval and the necessary daycare licensure in the State of Illinois. I also served on the Board of Trustees as the Board Treasurer.We are the US-based sister-school of SRIS-Bishkek, a premier, long-standing private international school in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, est. in ‘99.

The BES Fellowship is a year-long, rigorous, and comprehensive executive training program in urban charter school creation and leadership. The BES Fellowship is based out of Boston, Massachusetts. During the fellowship year, I travelled around the US, studying high-performance charter and independent schools. Two weeks out of the month were spent on the road, one week in Boston for training, and one week in Buffalo, NY with the Buffalo Creek Academy founding team conducting community engagement. All the while I was authoring the comprehensive charter application. The fellowship also consisted of two short-term school leadership residencies. My first residency was with Harlem Prep Middle School in Harlem, NY and my second residency was with Forte Prep Charter School in Queens, NY.

- Member of the founding team: Assisted Program Leader in testing/recruiting inaugural class of NGA students in summer of 2012. The New Generation Academy (NGA) is a comprehensive academic preparatory program at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) in Bishkek. NGA offers an intensive one-year program that aims at preparing its graduates for higher education. The program seeks to fill the gaps in the public school system to help high school graduates enter a university of their choice. Participants complete a rigorous program in the English language and College Mathematics, as well as in Kyrgyz and Russian languages, that are oriented towards developing critical and analytical thinking and academic writing skills.
