Most recently I have taken a on a new permanent position, doing something I have come to love over the last couple of years, HGV driving. I thrive when I am driving, I am regimented, making sure my cab is clean and always secure. Taking on new driving challenges in areas I have never been too. I am also a highly skilled and motivated over head lines team leader, with over 20 years experience on the lines.experienced on all OHL associated works from LV to 132kv, new construction though to maintenance on wood poles and towers, and fibre optic installations. I am also a fully trained drone pilot for inspection of Overhead Powerlines. I am also a tower rescue trainer and will train employees on tower rescue and how to save them selves and other staff members if any situation arises. I also make sure all staff and visitors onsite are wearing full PPE and using correct safety equipment. I also have class 1 hgv driving liscence , various plant licences, lorry loader crane. Fully first aid trained incase of emergencies. I am authorised to accept safety documentation including permits for selection of customers e.g SP, SSE, Northern Power Grid, WPD. I am efficient, well organised and excellent communication skills, and willingness to be on call due to the nature of the work.
