I represent plaintiffs in civil litigation in Alabama and across the United States. I have a diverse practice, having represented plaintiffs in cases varying from personal injury/wrongful death actions arising out of truck wrecks, to product liability claims against manufacturers of defective safety equipment, to online copyright infringement claims against a Chinese e-commerce company. I have considerable experience in the class action and mass tort arena. One of the highlights of my career has been serving on the team of lawyers that represented corn farmers in a class action trial that led to a $217.7 million verdict for a state class and a related $1.51 billion settlement for a nationwide class.Much of my practice focuses on brief writing and legal research. I have briefed and argued multiple appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit that led to precedent-setting decisions and have briefed hundreds of motions at the trial court level. I am admitted to the Alabama and Kentucky bars and have represented clients in actions litigated in over a dozen states.
