Christopher Rappold holds a 5th Degree Black Belt and is a five-time World Karate Champion. He is a graduate of Bridgewater State College with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He has represented the United States of America as a top athlete in his sport on five different occasions in international competition.As the Founder and C.E.O. of Personal Best Karate, Mr. Rappold has taken the principles he applied to produce outstanding results at peak levels of competition and created a Personal Best code of conduct and philosophy that can be used by the Personal Best Karate students to produce success in their life. As an active community leader, Mr. Rappold continues to extend his positive influence not only in the schools, but also throughout the community. His efforts on behalf of so many people have been recognized nationally by his representation as an Olympic Torch Bearer and having a U.S. Flag flown over the U.S. Capital by Senator John Kerry in his honor. Under the direction of Mr. Rappold, the “Personal Best Turkey Brigade” an effort to deliver Thanksgiving dinners to needy families, has provided nearly 40,000 dinners to needy families spanning some thirty communities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Through the Project Sparrow Scholarship Program, Personal Best provides partial and full tuition scholarships to children who otherwise would not be able to benefit from the character education and fitness provide by the Personal Best program. Additionally, Mr. Rappold has facilitated the Done with Bullying- anti bullying program in 32 public and private schools further stretching Personal Best's impact as a positive force in the communities the organization serves. In December 2008 Mr. Rappold was named one of the 50 most influential students to graduate from Cardinal Spellman High School in its 50 year history. In 2011 he was named Executive Director of Team Paul Mitchell Karate the Top Rated Sport Martial Arts in the world and at present continues in this role. In 2021 Personal Best Karate will celebrate 30 years of teach ing character education, physical fitness and self defense at their community locations.
