LANGDALE FOREST PRODUCTS- PURCHASING, SALES, & LOGISTICS MANAGER- June 2010 to March 2018 Sweetwater Division/Valdosta Division- November 2012 to March 2018 Responsible for increasing profit margin through the effective forecasting and decisive purchasing of Southern Yellow Pine, Oriented Strand Board, Plywood, and other building materials for the Treating Plant and Industrial business segments that serviced the Southeast and Midwest Regions. Manage all Southern Yellow Pine, OSB, and Plywood Inventories for our plant and warehouse locations to maintain optimal balance based on market conditions and our market position. Maintain positive professional relationships with all of my mills, vendors, customers, and distributors. Negotiate contracts to maintain our current customer base and develop new and expanded markets. Direct sales and plant personnel regarding current business climate and changing market trends. Coordinate daily logistics dispatching for all inbound shipments on our contract as well as outside common carriers, and mill direct dispatching to our plant, warehouse, and direct customers.  Developed new reporting tools for Sales, Inventory, and Purchasing on Access and Excel formats. Then worked with the IT department to get them integrated into the AS400 system. This enabled the Sweetwater plant to capture information previously inaccessible.
