As Manager of Maintenance Control, I'm responsible for management and supervision of dailyMaintenance Control functions; Oversees the forecasting and scheduling of short-term and long-term aircraft fleet maintenance; Ensures coordination with appropriate departments for the accomplishment of all work in accordance with the Allegiant maintenance program; Administers the Allegiant deferredmaintenance program including but not limited to MEL, CDL, and NEF items.Provides leadership, oversight, general direction, and performance reviews to the Maintenance Controlstaff.– Develops plans for manpower utilization, staffing, scheduling, and training to meet Allegiant and FAAstandards.– Ensures technical activities are coordinated with the OCC, Line Maintenance, Heavy Maintenance,and Engineering departments, and ensures that they handled in a safe and expeditious manner and inaccordance with Allegiant’s General Maintenance Manual and applicable federal regulations.– Monitors MEL, CDL, and NEF use to ensure proper administration and ensure that they are scheduledfor repair in a timely manner.– Analyzes computerized maintenance forecasts and coordinate with the Manager of Aircraft Records topreplan all inspections, overhaul, AD compliance, Service Bulletin (EO) compliance, and othermaintenance requirements in accordance with the approved maintenance program.– Coordinates with Operations Control Center (OCC) to provide timely compliance with maintenancerequirements while maintaining maximum utilization of time-limited intervals.– Accurately displays, tracks, and communicates recovery plans for all AOG aircraft.– Develops and manages department budget plan, including Overtime Administration as needed tosupport the needs of the airline.

Oversees Shift Managers in the execution of the company's plans, processes, policies, and procedures for Allegiants largest maintenance base. Accomplishes current and long range goals and objectives in accordance with company policies and procedures for the organization.Reviews and reports on operating results against goals and takes action to correct unsatisfactory results.Directs the “Bidding Process” and ensures all shifts are manned to meet/exceed performance standards outlined by the organization. Prepares the short-term and long-range plans and resource budgets. Represents the station and base maintenance groups, as appropriate, with airport management, FAA,TSA, OSHA, other government agencies and similar groups.Coaches the management team in meeting/exceeding their stations’ key performance indicators & operational performance goals.Provides succession plan for key management positions in his/her area of management; develops and promotes Shift Managers and Leads.Preserves a professional, effective, eager, and exultant union and non-union workforce.

Directs Aircraft mechanics and Aircraft maintenance leads in the execution of aircraft maintenance.Oversees Line Maintenance Leads in the implementation of the organization's plans, processes, policies, and procedures.Works cross-departmentally to resolve issues and develop effective relationships and solutions.Accomplishes current and long range goals and objectives in accordance with company policies and procedures.Periodically reviews performance data with Aircraft maintenance Leads to increase their understanding and drive related action items.Identifies training and development needs of staff throughout his/her organization and implements targeted developmental plans.

Overhaul, maintenance and repair of air frame components, power plants, aircraft communication, navigation equipment and associated components in accordance with ExpressJet manuals, manufacturer’s manuals, Service bulletins and Engineering orders. Expanded my trouble shooting techniques using an efficient and reliable methods. Accomplished early morning gate-calls and performed maintenance in a safe timely fashion to ensure the plane would get out without delay.Performed some heavy maintenance checks to include, elevator balancing, stabilizer removal, pack rebuild, engine and APU changes and Phase checks.
