Following an education @ Henley Grammar School, Reading Technical College & Brunel University, Christopher embarked on a career in Environmental Pollution Control first with British Airports Authority and then in private practice. In 1979 he started his own consultancy practice CPA Laboratories, specialising in Water & Waste Water Treatment and later diversifying into Asbestos Surveying & Testing. In 1991 Food Testing was added to the laboratory activities. In 1998 CPA was acquired by Eurofins SA and Christopher became a Main Board Director with responsibility for an enlarged UK operation and later the USA and world-wide Corporate HR. In 2006 Christopher semi-retired and became an Independent Management Consultant and Business Angel. Over the last 5-6 years Christopher has become actively involved in a number of ‘start-ups’, SME funding and advising Private Equity Groups on mergers & acquisitions in the Food, Pharma & Environmental testing Sector.
