I am a creative and nurturing arts educator that delights in developing arts appreciation in students and integrating studio/creative skills into a multi-disciplinary learning environment. I have worked with developing artists from kindergarten to university levels in the classroom and out in the community with non-profit organizations. Developing and implementing curriculum that compliments STEM concepts and broadens perspective, fosters appreciation, and increases awareness in the arts and our daily relationship with the world of art and design is my objective. I approach my work with the philosophy that everyone deserves easy access to an art-making experience and for their creativity to be explored and developed through exposure and experimentation.
