Directly support the Executive Director and perform daily operations. Interact with members on a daily basis: working to maintain strong member relations while helping them with all requests to ensure that all expectations are met in a timely fashion. Work with new members to help them successfully integrate into the organization while making the most out of their membership. Talk with potential members to answer any questions and discuss how BOMA can benefit their company. Day-to-day activities include handling telephones, mailing, filing and processing forms. Other activities include planning and organizing monthly events; ranging from 100-250 attendees.

Responsible for all ensuring all financials are in order. Use QuickBooks to keep track of all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Create Profit/Loss summaries of each event the association hosts. Make sure that the association’s A/R is up to date and members pay on time. Simultaneously making sure all bills are paid in a timely manner. Through monthly financial statements, report to the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees on the financial state of the association. Work with accountants to perform an annual audit and make sure all taxes are paid on time.

Worked with the Head Coach to determine the best combinations of athletes to make the fastest boats. With the Head Coach, continued to build a positive environment and an enriching team culture so all athletes would perform to the best of their ability.

2012-2013 Freshman/Novice CoachHead Coach of the Freshman/Novice team. Determined what the week’s schedule looked like. Taught the students the basics of the stroke then brought them on the water to prepare them for fall and spring racing. Matched materials for the designers. Inventorized all leather and determined how much was on hand. Worked with designers to order more fabric and/or leather.

Began by listening to and transcribing interviews between residents and/or doctors and patients with Hepatitis C in the community. The interviews were part of a research project focused on Hepatatis C in the South Bronx community and how to create better awareness and recommend better treatments.Took the online course in order to become IRB Certified by NIH to conduct medical research. Simultaneously, learned the intricacies of MedLine- an online medical research search engine. With the help of MedLine, started my own research for a paper on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
