From an extremely early age, I have had a passion for marine science and education, with a lifelong goal of becoming a successful leader in an institution dedicated to conservation, education, and the biological sciences.To that end, I am a scientific professional with training in Public and Nonprofit Management, Environmental Policy Analysis, Environmental Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Chemical, Physical, and Biological Oceanography. As a graduate student I developed an economic model for the production of Black Sea Bass in a recirculating system with an emphasis on the effects of Culling and harvesting. I am NAUI open water certified and AAUS certified as a scientific diver. I am skilled in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS powerpoint, and Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS) as well as a variety of scientific techniques. I have a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and oversee project team members while meeting both short and long term deadlines. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience as both a scientist and a leader which has been useful for meeting my organization's goals and objectives.
