As the Destination Development Manager for the Visitors Bureau, my focus consists of continually working with local teams to make Charlottesville and Albemarle County and unique and sought-after destination for visitors when planning their trips to Central Virginia. Working closely with local stakeholders and organizations to build a healthy and sustainable tourism ecosystem, which in turn helps to create more opportunities for local residents.

As a Travel Specialist with the Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau, I was tasked with managing one of two Mobile Visitors Centers with an inventory of local and statewide brochures. These MVC's were a unique and innovative way to look at the idea of Visitor Centers in a different light, bringing the information to the visitors, instead of requiring them to come to the information. Other tasks include preparing mailings and bulk orders requested through the Visit Charlottesville website, providing timely information via phone calls and email, and also notifying all partners of our new model, and the best way they could take advantage of the benefits we offer.

As a Content Manager for MTBparks.com, I was responsible for gathering and preparing information and visual assets to create daily articles, blogs, and video posts. These updates created high user engagement and drove traffic to our website. I was also tasked with managing social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram and creating diverse and dynamic posts for each of these platforms, building our following, and funneling more users to our brand. Timely responses through multiple channels from viewers also helped to provide feedback on future website improvements. Customer Resource Management was also a large part of my responsibilities as I built relationships with bike park partners. This allowed me to easily communicate with many personnel throughout various departments at each resort, and acquire intel and assets to highlight updates and improvements at each bike park as they became available.

My main responsibilities as a Special Events Coordinator was to manage and organize a demo fleet of 40 to 50 wheelsets to be tested and enjoyed by riders hoping to determine the right set of hoops for them. I also designed and implemented booth space for large exhibition events such as Interbike and Frostbike, as well as coordinated transportation and logistics of products, people, and display to these all organization events. I also partnered with OEM brands to create mutually beneficial in-booth displays such as new and custom bikes.

In my time as an Inside Sales Manager, I managed over 400 accounts including brick & mortar and online retailers, as well as distributors. I helped grow US domestic sales by approximately 100% during my time in the position, reflecting the tremendous rate of growth of the organization. My duties included keeping dealers up-to-date on order status and account standing through sales reports, as well as managing a CRM system to keep outside sales representatives updated. I also initiated the development of a Brand Security Department to protect retail channels and end-users from counterfeit products with ENVE's name.
