Inventory Control Quality Assurance Area Manager
CurrentAssess workload and workflow to determine labor distribution within the department as well as provide support for any sister departments in need of assistance. Take on human resources duties, including interviewing and hiring new staff, mediating and resolving sensitive associate-based issues in a professional and timely manner, and issuing progressive disciplinary actions up to and including terminable offenses. Create and implement new operational standards and procedures which have increased efficiency and ensured timely completion. Deliver reporting to monitor including, but not limited to, cycle count frequencies, results and trends, inventory adjustments by reason code, quality assurance audits, total inventory snapshots, and more. Create cross-functional partnerships to identify the root cause of errors to support continuous improvement within the organization. Broad understanding of quality and inventory control metrics including their operational and financial impacts. Manage and coordinate transfer and relocation of all available inventory with supporting 3PL facility. Answer customer service emails that involve checking inventory in forms of measuring, sizing, quality, and more to satisfy customer needs. Manage complete night shift warehouse operations on a smaller scale to assist in achieving daily quotas and collecting measurable results.
