Started at Ball Aerospace as an Optical Designer and associate test engineer on the JWST program. Moved into R&D and helped with Star Tracker business development.In 2008, continued my career as a project manager for the Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP), and Air Force Research Labs (AFRL). Transitioned back into Engineering with an emphasis on manufacturing R&D and worked as an advanced manufacturing engineer, fabricating complex optical surfaces using diamond turning, robotic polishing, and hand figuring.I design all my own fabrication and test tooling and control the manufacturing process from blank to final test.Expert on SiC manufacturing/grinding/polishing processes.Experienced using Precitech Nanoform and Moore Nanotech Diamond Turning MachinesAt Raytheon Intelligence and Space, I am the lead optical engineer for all things MTS Turret production, providing analysis capabilities to the manufacturing floor. I have many interests. A few of these are:- Modeling and Simulation of Physics- Python Development for Science- Optomechanical Design- Advanced Metrology and Analysis- Robotics and Control Systems- System Integration and Test- Additive Manufacturing
