  I currently work as a Uniformed Security Specialist at Meta (Facebook) in Altoona, IA. My responsibilities have me scheduled at either one of the Data Center Buildings, mobile patrol, or at Gate 4. While scheduled in one of the buildings, I have to check the data suites, the electrical rooms, high value rooms, etc. During my patrols, I’m making sure that there are no issues in each area. If something is discovered to be out of the ordinary, I report said issue to the ASOC. While patrolling the campus in the mobile unit, I am checking the buildings for any structural damage, any issues in the Gen Yards, making sure that all the gates are secured, manned and closed, and reporting any and all issues that are found to the ASOC. While stationed at the Gate 4 post, I am there to greet all FTEs, contingent workers and contractors as they enter the site through that gate. I will be present at the outside badge reader to greet every vehicle and to make sure that everyone in the vehicle has a badge on them and that all badges are swiped before the vehicle continues onto the site. Among the programs that I must have up on the Gate House computer, I must have VMS, for checking any visitors that are scheduled to come onto the site, and CCure Badge & Go to make sure that everyone who has badged through badge readers is allowed on site. I will report any issues with visitors, FTEs, contractors, or Gate House issues to the ASOC.
