As Associate Director of Tennis for Dave Marshall and Associates at the Vern, my responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Creating, managing, supervising the George Washington Tennis Center tennis and pickleball programs for all GW students and members of the surrounding residential community• Facility management, court monitoring, safety and security• Teaching private lessons and group clinics members of all ages and levels• Conducting team practices for several local schools in the D.C. Metropolitan area• Directing USTA tournaments• Creating various social events to promote the George Washington Tennis Center program

I have taught private tennis lessons, and group clinics for Guest Services Inc, since 2004. During this period of time, I have held many other tennis positions, including several leadership positions within the Guest Services Inc. tennis program. I continue to maintain employment with Guest Services Inc. on a part-time basis to continue to work with the clientele base I have established since I began with the organization.

As the first-ever Junior Tennis Director at Rock Creek, I established a 10 and Under ROG program that started with 0 kids and had more than 60 kids enrolled within 1 year. I was able to reach these numbers despite sharing the facility with the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation, and only being allotted a single court from 4-7p.m. during weekdays. I handled every aspect of the junior program to include outreach to parents, brochure/flyer design, setting up the program in the club management software system, purchasing the balls and equipment, and writing the program lesson plans for each session.I established the first ever Junior Summer Camp at the Pierce Mill Tennis Courts and worked jointly with the WTEF in their 10 and Under Summer Camp with Ellen Miller. I worked with the USTA to bring sanctioned MAS junior tournaments to Rock Creek. I also worked with the USTA to arrange for PlayDays to take place at the tennis center.

As the Director of Tennis, I created and ran a successful Adult Tennis Program that resulted in a 100% increase in student enrollment. I was also responsible for a $70,000.00 increase in lesson and clinic revenue from the previous year. I achieved these results by creating new program options designed to add maximal value to the existing program. I set up Adult clinics for all levels, arranged Social Mixers, set up Match Play programs, and established DC Rocks!; the first ever GWTA team to base it's home at the Rock Creek Tennis Center.

As the Assistant General Manager of the Rock Creek Tennis Center my duties were to oversee overall facility management. I managed the front desk staff, the pro shop, and a 25-tennis court facility (both Hard Court and Har-Tru. I prepared product sales reports, daily cash reports, prepared facility checklists, conducted monthly inventory inspections, handled customer inquiries, court scheduling, and provided content for Rock Creek social media. I was the first to establish the Rock Creek Facebook website and I was also the first Guest Services employee to bring sanctioned USTA tournaments to the Rock Creek Tennis Center. I was the tournament director for several high-level events at Rock Creek, and East Potomac Tennis Center.

In the role of Director of Racquets I performed the following duties:• Oversaw all aspects of the Cattail Creek Country Club Tennis and Pickleball programs• Ensured the racquets program met and exceeded stated budgetary goals for 2021• Ran a highly profitable Summer Camp which contributed to over 20K per month in summer revenue for the racquets program • Ran USTA Tri-Level, WTT and CCWTA Women’s Leagues simultaneously during Summer/Fall 2021 • Established a Pickleball program that resulted in Cattail being selected for the first Baltimore Pickleball Interclub league• Taught all winter indoor adult and junior clinics for the club• Worked with Marketing and F&B to promote and run all social events for the racquets program.• Worked with Maintenance to ensure all clay courts were maintained and ready for play

I performed, managed and oversaw all aspects of a very successful tennis program. My primary duty as an Elkridge employee was to provide an amazing, enjoyable experience to all club members. As Head Racquets Professional, my primary duties were to carry out the directives of the Director of Racquets. My specific duties included creating new tennis programming, teaching group and private lessons, running team practices for interclub play, running summer camps, directing USTA sanctioned tournaments, training staff, maintaining the clay courts, driving pro shop sales, marketing and advertising, racquet stringing, and running all tennis events keeping to a specific budget and timetable.

As the Assistant Head Coach for the 2017 Girl's WCAC Conference Finalist SJC, I provided strategic on-court coaching for all team matches. I organized and conducted team practices and performed all administrative functions to include taking the team to all away matches, arranging the practice schedule, and ensuring overall compliance with all school regulations.

In my role as a coach/mentor with MTEG I coached and trained tournament level children of all ages. I coached High Performance clinics with players who held Sectional and National rankings.I also traveled with several of the players and coached them in higher level tournaments and events such as the JTT Sectionals.

I taught Adult and Junior clinics of all ages and levels of ability. I was an instructor in the High Performance and 10 and Under programs. In addition, I also conducted the Boot Camp and Cardio classes for CA Tennis members.
