I made a strategic career change, transitioning back into an engineering role to pursue my long-standing interest in Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). This field has captivated my attention for many years, and I am now actively involved in it, leveraging my expertise and passion to contribute effectively. This move has allowed me to immerse myself in BEMS, applying my skills to optimise energy management and drive sustainable solutions.

As a working supervisor, I managed a team of 26 engineers while also taking on the role of a senior heating engineer. I hold an IOSH qualification, which ensures my commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards in all our operations. My responsibilities include directly interacting with directors, senior members of staff in different departments and account managers to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met. This involves coordinating efforts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest standards. My dual role requires both technical expertise and strong leadership skills, allowing me to effectively bridge the gap between engineering execution and management oversight.
