I work as part of a team of three Investment Managers, with over 60 years of market experience and £200 million of assets under management. We manage these on behalf of individuals, trusts, charities and businesses.We are part of EFG Harris Allday, a Birmingham based Private client stockbroker & investment manager since 1834 and now part of the EFG International Group.When looking at investments, I focus on finding the trends and developments that are shaping our world and enjoy discovering and analysing the investments which address these and provide the potential for long term returns.Putting the client at the centre of everything I do is paramount. Everyone is different and to provide good financial advice the establishment of a trusted long-term relationship is key. Listening to the client’s objectives and goals are central in building an individual portfolio, no one size fits all. I am conscious of the growing interest for more ethically focused portfolios. Having studied Ethics I am aware of the often complex and unique nature of these beliefs and understand the bespoke investment solutions they can require.Outside of work I enjoy listening to classical music and am beginning to explore both organ pieces and Opera. I also enjoy classic rock, with its strong ties to Birmingham and the Black Country. At weekends I can often be found rambling around Birmingham's canals and the (somewhat) local countryside.
