Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Evaluate claim for fraud issues, loss control and recovery in accordance with insurance policy contracts and state regulation * Manage policy funds of up to amounts of $250,000.00 per claim * Research and resolve claim issues and negotiate with providers and attorneys to bring claims to settlement * Determine cost effectiveness of providing benefits or sending for IME/MDR reports * Identify wage loss expenses and wage exposures on claims * Interact daily with customers and research records to understand nature and extent of condition * Plan and conduct coverage investigations * Evaluate claim for potential fraud issues, loss control and recovery in accordance with insurance policy contracts and state regulation * Review variety of claim related mail each day, including claims forms, bills, and attorney correspondence
