Manage over 150 front line staff insuring compliance with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations. Assist in maintaining good public relations with patrons and maintain an open door policy with all employees. Comply with safety and security standards of the corporation while orientating staff to operations and complying with pre-determined internal control procedures. Is responsible for the administration and day-to-day supervision and operation of the department and to secure the assets of the corporation. Ensure that all employees adhere to the Policies and Procedures of the corporation and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Major Responsibility Areas: Protects company assets at all times by ensuring Departmental or Internal Control Manual policies and procedures are strictly adhered to. Supervise staff to meet and exceed performance expectations by establishing and maintaining a positive work environment and effective employee relations.Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest calibre of customer service and respect to all patrons, employees and OLG personnel.Maintain awareness of gaming operation at all times and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.Is responsible for the reporting and arrest of criminals while maintaining peace and order for guests and fellow employees.Make recommendations in the hiring, training, evaluating, rewarding, and apply disciplinary or corrective counselling to staff.Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions.Full EMR certification
