Materials Management

Perform daily inventory of surgical supplies. Data entry orders for supplies using the Oracle system. Accept and verify supply/equipment deliveries and distribute, organize and maintain supplies for use in general peri-operative areas. Acts a recourse for information pertinent to all supplies kept in the peri-operative areas.

Supervised approximately 52 staff members. Responsible for providing initial training and on-going education including the use of all chemicals. Assigned personnel to established work areas or project duties. Monitored and maintained time and attendance including scheduling vacations and ensuring proper staff coverage. Ensured staff adherence to supply control guidelines. Supervise and assign projects and assure proper frequencies are maintained. Supervised micro-fiber mop maintenance program. Envirommental Services

Foreman overseeing a crew of five to ten employees. Responsible for organizing set-up and breakdown of audio and video equipment. Set up equipment for special events throughout the medical center and university campus. Greet, direct, transport and assist patients as needed. Assist patient safety unit in the hospital lobby.

Environmental Services

Responsible for stripping and waxing floors in hospital clinics, exam rooms and reception areas. Led a team of five to ten employees in set-up/breakdown of audio and video equipment for special events.

Cardiac Unit

Responsible for the general cleaning of patient care rooms, hospital corridors, nursing stations and conference rooms. Ensured best customer care practices and cleanliness.
