Currently serve as a member of the Tax Collector’s Executive Leadership Team, providing leadership in the following areas: Administration, Business Analytics, and Communications. Previously responsible for Taxes, Information Technologies, and Enforcement. Also responsible for assisting the Tax Collector in areas involving state legislative affairs, state association issues, local governing matters, and special projects; representing the organization at public events; developing new approaches, ideas or projects pertaining to office operations and services; and, in the absence of the Tax Collector serve as the person primarily responsible for all office operations.

Appointed by the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives to provide legislative and administrative support to the Honorable Joe G. Tedder, Member of the Florida House of Representatives, District 64. Duties included developing legislative proposals, overseeing constituent affairs, coordinating member activities and overseeing office expenditures.

Directed all facets of district campaign operations, including paid and earned media coordination, field activities, and area direct mail activities. Also served as chief political advisor to the candidate.

Responsible for providing program management support to the Virginia Board for Contractors. Duties included assisting the Assistant Director/Board Administrator, developing policies, issuing and renewing licenses and registrations, regulating licensees and registrants, providing support for complaint adjudication and regulatory review. Further duties included drafting proposed regulations and legislation.

Served on the Virginia Governor-Elect’s 1990 Inaugural Staff. Directed the Governor’s Inaugural Parade. Also participated in site coordination of the Inaugural Gala, Swearing-In Ceremony, Reception, Ball, and other related events.

Coordinated small dollar political contribution program and assisted with out-of-state political fundraising operations. Other duties included coordinating major fundraising events throughout Virginia, providing advance organization for candidate appearances and conducting specified research.

Coordinated state funded research. Solely responsible for researching, formulating and writing an advisory review concerning the implementation of local zoning restrictions based on military requirements, newly enacted state law, and subsequent legal actions. Also responsible for providing an evaluation of absentee balloting and its effect on the normal voting activity in the West Florida region.

Formulated media schedules and recommended the purchase of advertising. Also coordinated market research activities, drafted advertising copy and assisted with audio/video production.

Coordinated the production of Ground, Computer and Remote Launch Assemblies for the Pershing II Missile system program. Also coordinated production activities for the Patriot Missile System, LANTIRN, ADATS, COPPERHEAD, HELLFIRE, and TADS/PNVS programs.

Supervised Logistics/Retail Store warehouses associated with AUTEC Military Base Exchange operations. Also, responsible for supervising Exchange cashier personnel and stations, including currency control.
