Project consists of migrating from legacy T1s onto a fiber Ethernet backhaul for 3G/4G/2.5 services as well as turning up new fiber sites for our client. This project encompasses the nation with approx over 12,000 cell sites. Responsible for leading the LCC fiber team which includes ensuring the business goals and objectives are met while also reviewing reports on work progress and providing strategies for upcoming task. Work side by side with the client’s network designers and engineers to outline Network Standards and testing procedures.• Technical responsibilities include baselining router configurations and ensuring golden configurations work from the lab to the production environment. Auditing configurations and ensuring the organization is performing quality work and adhering to the process and procedures guidelines. Part of numerous FIT (Field Integration Testing) for Samsung, Ericsson and Alcatel Lucent markets. Provide LOE (Level of effort) times and help put together RFP (request for proposal) bids for prospective work. • Responsible for supporting the following elements as they relate to the above outline:CSR (Cell site router) types: Cisco 2941, ASR901s, ASR903s, Ericsson SP-x10, Alcatel-Lucent 7705 IP Aggregators: Cisco ASR9ks, Ericsson SE-1200s, Alcatel-Lucent 7750, Juniper ACX 2200, ACX 4000• Was part of the initial team that developed the configuration and initial testing procedures on how to turn up and test a Microwave backhaul for each network topology. Procedures outline a detailed step to make sure each microwave radio is aligned properly, RFC-2544 test pass as well as 24 hour soak times are adhere too. Microwave radios include but not limited to the DragonWave Horizon Compact (+) and Ceragon.
