--Supervised a group of five engineers responsible for interior, thermal, and powertrain components. --Engineering launch coordinator for model year changes. Chaired meetings with release engineering, program management, production control, and plant management to track changes timed for model year change over. --Interviewed and hired candidates for open positions within my group. --Completed employee performance appraisals and worked with my employees to complete career development plans. --Created group goals for each employee to incorporate into their own goals. Held staff meetings and individual folder reviews to track, communicate, and prioritize the group’s open issues. --Chaired launch open issues meeting with powertrain and interior systems to track new vehicle launch issues--Responsible for product change management through product evaluation trials (PER) and change notice implementation.--Certified Shainin Red X Blackbelt. This is a reactionary problem solving methodology.
