I started in the world of IT, but gradually moved into the world of 3D printing and 3D scanning. I still have my hand in IT, but the vast majority of what I do is related to 3D printing or 3D scanning. I've been working with 3D printers for about 7 years now and have done everything from print services, to sales support, to repair technician. I love working with my existing customers, as well as introducing people to the technology for the very first time. I first started working with the ZPrinter series from ZCorp (Now 3D Systems), but have moved to working with all sorts of printer technology such as SLA, SLS, FDM, Multijet printing, and powder-based printers. For nearly as long as I have been working with 3D printers, 3D scanners have been a huge part of my job as well. I started using the ZScanner (a.k.a the original Handyscan from Creaform) handheld 3D scanner, but quickly grew to a wide variety of scanners, such as the Steinbichler Comet, Konica Minolta Range and Vivid models, a whole line of Creaform handheld scanners including the Handyscans, GoScans, MetraScans and others. I also use the long range 3D scanners from Surphaser for larger applications like planes, boats and buildings. I also have experience with software related to the world of 3D Printing, Scanning and CAD. Examples include Geomagic (Studio, Wrap, DesignX, Verify), Magics, Solidworks, and SpaceClaim
