As the Agency Manager, my role involves overseeing a dedicated team of agency operators and trainees who work around the clock to service over 500 vessels annually. While our main focus is on the port of Emden, we also operate in the Netherlands and other German ports. Our primary objective is to guarantee seamless port calls for all parties involved, including vessel owners, shippers/receivers, and charterers.My daily responsibilities encompass managing staff, maintaining an overview of the department's finances, and handling commercial tasks. Additionally, I am a member of a sales and development team that works across divisions to ensure knowledge sharing and coordinate sales activities. As the Key Account Manager, I am responsible for maintaining strong relationships and regular contact with many of our clients.
