I am a litigation and trial attorney with over 30 years of experience handling matters for clients in Federal and State Courts across the country. I enjoy working with others to solve difficult problems. I have had many opportunities to work on difficult and exciting issues for clients, as well as other organizations in the non-profit world.I am a Member of the Firm's practice groups for Insurance and Tort Litigation; Products Liability and Mass Tort Litigation; Class Action Litigation; and Business Litigation. This broad experience has allowed me to manage and litigate complex matters for the Firm's clients in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington, DC.I have defended consumer class action lawsuits, including matters which involved construction defects, and other product liability issues; mold; claim settlement software; legal negligence; and tax issues. I have also defended a large number of insurance coverage cases, fire cases and insurance fraud matters involving Federal and State law enforcement agencies. I have frequently handled insurance matters from the initial claims investigation through its conclusion to settlement or judgment.I helped lead and worked with others at FBT, to form the Firm's Mold Litigation Group; and FBT's Electronic Data and Discovery Group for e-discovery in litigation. More recently, I was instrumental in forming FBT's blog on class action litigation and developments (See.   In 1988, I joined Frost Brown Todd LLC (formerly Brown Todd & Heyburn) as a Summer Associate. I joined the firm as a full time Associate in 1989, and I have been an Equity Member of the firm since 1998. I manage a wide variety of client litigation matters involving complex insurance, business, tort and class action issues. Although I am based in Kentucky, I have represented clients in a wide variety of matters on both coasts and many states in between.
