Responsible for policy research for members of the legislature. In my role, I conducted research for the leader, the education critic, the health critic, the finance critic and other members of the opposition. I provided strategic advice, analysis, research, issue management and communications support, and I coordinated with my colleagues on a broad range of issues, projects and policies. I supported members in their legislative agenda. I also served in an interim basis as the director of communications and policy in the leader’s office preceding the selection of a permanent leader in 2017.

Worked collaboratively with the board of directors and other agencies to set and implement priorities for community economic development in Manitoba’s East Interlake. For example, took a coordinating role in delivering the Westshore Broadband, a $1 M initiative supported by Industry Canada and participating municipalities that brought high speed internet to unserviced and underserviced communities along the west shore of Lake Winnipeg.
