As a leadership team member for the Global Projects (GP) organization, I provide expertise and a depth of knowledge in the areas of HSES leadership, occupational and process safety, health, security and environmental in an owner’s project and construction environment. Responsibilities involve managing the HSES team and performance for large capital projects and the Global Projects department. Support the project leadership teams to ensure overall department and project success by organizing, planning, staffing, motivating, coordinating and directing the engineering and construction HSES effort and program management.Develop & manage policies, strategies and processes that promote global implementation to ensure HSES processes are in place to achieve industry leading results, including recognizing industry best practices and analyzing HSES data to identify trends for developing proactive strategies and programs to address improvements and gaps.Collaborate with & engage the Project Leadership Teams in assessing the current performance of their safety systems, processes and personnel working with their staffs to develop and implement changes for improvement, in addition to engaging with contractor, manufacturing, and corporate executive leadership, regulatory authorities, and others.Most recently, personally developed & implemented COVID-19 Prevention & Response programs for the entire Global Projects organization with impacts to project sites & engineering facilities in North America, Europe & Mumbai. Also developed Return To Work (RTW) protocols based on CDC & state/local regulatory guidance to determine when & how personnel could RTW during the pandemic & protocols for when personnel had COVID symptoms or tested positive. These programs helped influence company COVID-19 policy.The current HSE staff is made up of 14 direct reports & numerous indirect reports & seconded HSES contractor personnel.

Responsible for the health, wellness, safety, security, environmental, fire protection & emergency response of a 250-employee polypropylene facility, along with various elements regarding process safety.Manage a staff of 6 direct reports with an additional 14 resident contractor direct reports. Duties include setting clear expectations, goals development, performance reviews, onboarding & succession planning.Develop annual budget, along with mid-year budget forecasts & asset strategies.
