•Retina Scans – Scanned the military networks with Retina/Q-TIP. Retina scanned the networks twice daily for patch vulnerabilities and used those scans to patch or fix the network in one fashion or another. Maintained updated Retina Scanners with SCCVI updates from approved military websites. Shared updates with the rest of the 25TH SIG IAs. Logged into the PCs directly to patch or ensured that the patch was correctly automated using multiple software like LANGuard, SCCM, SMS, or WSUS.•QTIP Scans - Ran Q-TIP scans twice weekly to find malicious software/hardware on the military networks. Installed and updated software for the Q-TIP scanners and reviewed the results of the scans. Created and Ran ‘Custom’ audits with the scans as deemed necessary and vital to the network. Acted on the results of the scans removing any of the vulnerabilities on the military networks. Addressed illegal software, keygens, viruses, outdated virus definitions, outdated Adobe products, and hardware (ipods/mp3 players/etc) with the military DSST and SSO. Ensured the integrity of the network was maintained.•SCCM & SMS – Maintained site SCCM and SMS servers. Created collections, packages, programs, and advertisements to automate the process of computer compliancy and updates of third party applications including Adobe Reader, Professional, Acrobat, Shockwave, Firefox, RealTime Player, and Flash Player. Reviewed reports from the SCCM and evaluated the current software that was on the network from those reports. Repaired “Client” software on the hosts when they didn’t receive packages from the servers.
