• Cyber Security Work Force – Hardened and reviewed Linux & Windows systems for multiple large government contracts. Made changes as needed to decrease the vulnerability footprint of systems currently in production environments.• Security Review – Produced scans, answered questions, determined risk, and gave insight to ongoing projects to help get packages approved with accrediting agencies for use on the government network. Maintained documentation of the networks being used by the company for their contracts. • Certification & Accreditation - Analyzed Security Center ACAS Nessus scans, SCAP/STIGs scans, and Checklists, to create POAMs for both certification and accreditation. Worked with AD Group Policies, Linux/CENTOS, Red Hat, McAfee, eMass, DADMs, and Symantec.

HBSS Administrator – Installed, Removed, Troubleshot HBSS clients on large government networks. Accessed DLP via ePolicy Orchestrator 4.5 (ePO) made changes as needed to HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention Servers), monitored network activity.HBSS Certifications - Received certifications from VTE on HBSS 3.0 Administrator Course, HBSS 4.5 Administrator Course, DISA HBSS Management Roles, DISA HBSS Supplemental Content Course, and DISA HBSS 4.5 Advanced Course.DLP Policy & Monitor – Changed configurations as approved to allow use of external media, DVD/CD burn rights, and USB devices. Investigated flagged events. Reviewed removable requests and reviewed scans of external devices being placed on the network.Bluecoat – Reviewed Bluecoat (BC) website proxy’s reports. Administrator with BC ProxySG using Visual Policy Manager and made changes as required. Changed rights for individuals or groups on sites that were permitted or denied by policies.CND – Handled Cross Domain events, spillages, and security related events. Implemented/Enforced both unit policies and government policies in reference to Network Cross Domain violations, USB violations, Removable Media rights.

•Retina Scans – Scanned the military networks with Retina/Q-TIP. Retina scanned the networks twice daily for patch vulnerabilities and used those scans to patch or fix the network in one fashion or another. Maintained updated Retina Scanners with SCCVI updates from approved military websites. Shared updates with the rest of the 25TH SIG IAs. Logged into the PCs directly to patch or ensured that the patch was correctly automated using multiple software like LANGuard, SCCM, SMS, or WSUS.•QTIP Scans - Ran Q-TIP scans twice weekly to find malicious software/hardware on the military networks. Installed and updated software for the Q-TIP scanners and reviewed the results of the scans. Created and Ran ‘Custom’ audits with the scans as deemed necessary and vital to the network. Acted on the results of the scans removing any of the vulnerabilities on the military networks. Addressed illegal software, keygens, viruses, outdated virus definitions, outdated Adobe products, and hardware (ipods/mp3 players/etc) with the military DSST and SSO. Ensured the integrity of the network was maintained.•SCCM & SMS – Maintained site SCCM and SMS servers. Created collections, packages, programs, and advertisements to automate the process of computer compliancy and updates of third party applications including Adobe Reader, Professional, Acrobat, Shockwave, Firefox, RealTime Player, and Flash Player. Reviewed reports from the SCCM and evaluated the current software that was on the network from those reports. Repaired “Client” software on the hosts when they didn’t receive packages from the servers.
