As a Safety + Compliance Manager with a focus on Training and Development, my role involves ensuring strict adherence to state and federal regulations as set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).My key responsibilities with ODW Logistics include, Compliance assurance. Oversee and ensure adherence to FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Compliance as the Designated Employer Representative (DER).Accident investigation and analysis. Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of accidents, incidents, and injuries, ensure the completion of all related documentation and reports accurately and timely. Determine root causes of accidents and implement necessary revisions to practices and equipment to prevent recurrence.Training and Certification Development. Provide input and direction in the development of training programs and certifications. Manage comprehensive safety training and onboarding programs to ensure all employees are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.By focusing on these areas, I continue to build a robust safety framework that not only complies with regulations but also promotes a proactive safety mindset among all employees. My goal is to reduce incidents and accidents, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the well-being of all stakeholders involved in our transportation operations.

Managed, maintained accountability of, and performed administrative services for over 50 personnel on a constantly revolving basis. Ensured unit-level training was conducted for all Marines, resulting in 100 percent combat readiness and effectiveness. Performed reconnaissance operations to gather intelligence for the command element of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force, supporting task force commanders and subordinate units of the Fleet Marine Force. Continuously ensure top level leaders are briefed on the conduct of the Marines not only in the platoon, but also the leadership being evaluated, to include those several levels higher.
