I am an educator with more than a decade of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum for diverse learners. My position also includes gathering and analyzing data to improve instruction and help make decisions going forward. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with peers in many settings from the four person curriculum team, to the ten plus person Student Learning Committee of which I am the chairperson, to the entire staff during trainings and staff meetings. Over the past three years, my experience with technology has grown as we had to quickly learn how to adjust our practices from in person learning to completely remote and then hybrid versions.My work with the MTA has given me opportunities to create and deliver professional development for members who are just entering the field and those who are seeking to become leaders in the association. I also have experience organizing, negotiating (as both management and employee), and communications. I recently spearheaded a project to create a podcast for our region so that our members can understand the workings of the organization and how to get more involved.As a member of the Acushnet Lions Club, I have been afforded the opportunity to strengthen my skills as a leader while doing work to raise money for Lions charities. I have served in several positions including club president. As president, I was complimented for my organizational skills and ability to run a fun but productive meeting.
