Ever since I was young, I've always had an affinity for numbers. From there I bounced around from some rather unrelated jobs until I spoke with my uncle who worked in the accounting field. He passed on enough knowledge to pique my interest, and it's all been uphill from there. I went back to school to earn my accounting degree. I graduated with a 3.86 GPA while working part time. During my tenure at Western Connecticut State University I was accepted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an honor society that only the top 10% of the senior class is invited to. I was also part of the inaugural class for the university. From there, I started my work as an AP Specialist at Datto, where I got some early and good experience working in a corporate office, and it allowed me the opportunity to work with and learn from their accounting team. One of my old professors then reached out to me about an opportunity with Andersen where I work to this day. It was a tough decision to leave, but I took it as an opportunity to learn from CPAs while I attempt to earn my own. I am part of the AIF Department preparing tax returns, tax forms, and helping my Senior Manager out with anything he needs
