I am a geologist with more than 30 years of professional experience in the contaminated site management within a Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation Team. I am passionate about client & project management and concept development of large-scale exploration projects, geochemical research investigations, closure of mines and at the interface of EHS and mining advisory. I manage projects in the wider ESG, EHS, mining advisory and responsible sourcing space with support from diverse technical teams across South America and Africa.Prior to joining SLR, I lead and performed successfully related assessments, due diligence and technical auditing of mining resources and manufacturing sectors. As account manager for the Department of Defence (DoD), the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the Air Force I managed multimillion-dollar contracts for Investigation and Remediation Services Europe-wide and had specific responsibilities in managing soil, groundwater and soil vapor remediation projects, industrial hazardous and non-hazardous waste and unexploded ammunition risk (UXO) mitigation. Within these contracts I managed the individual Task Orders together with assigned task managers and US Army project managers. I was also responsible for the budgeting and proposal preparation and coordination.I acted as the global expert for unexploded ammunition (UXO), ERW (which stands for Explosive Remnants of War) and explosives and had specific responsibilities in managing safety and training of personnel prior being deployed in high risk areas.Roles and responsibilities 2000 to date: - EHS Advisory Services for Tesla Gigafactory Berlin, Germany from Feb. 2020 to Feb. 2021- 2021 to 2022 Account manager for TESLA- ERM on-site team lead and pollution prevention officer- EHS advisory support in connection with the GFB development project for the various project phases, i.e. design & permitting, construction and operation as well as other sub-phases thereof. Services comprise ad hoc EHS advisory services and EHS coordination, but also the interim representation of EHS on behalf of Tesla for the regulators.- Certified pollution prevention officer requested by the local environmental authorities.
