Directly responsible for managing the execution of software implementation projectsin alignment with established project management standards and best practices. Activities includesecuring assigned project staff across multiple teams, managing the project team for theduration of the project, creating and maintaining the project management document library, settingdeadlines, communicating with company executives and clients about the state of the project,ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and within scope, and adjusting or escalating asappropriate. The Project Manager works closely with the project sponsors to understand client needs and goals and to design a project plan that is realistic and achievable.
