I started as a Procurement Engineer/Buyer at Danfoss and was blessed to be able to work with some outstanding people and take part in several cost down and new product development projects. My contributions toward these projects consisted of supplier selection, component setup with the supplier’s, component setup internally, supplier and internal PPAP setup and execution, and project timeline’s. I lead several internal improvements as well for our purchasing department such as creating walkthrough’s or SOP’s and training for the use of new transactions in SAP to eliminate waste in manual updating of info records. I believe in learning from the ground up and I am a very hands-on individual. I want to increase my knowledge in the Mechanical Engineering field with a position from an R&D or engineering department. I seek challenging opportunities where I can fully utilize my skills in Mechanical Engineering for the success of the organization. Some key skill sets from my schooling are fluid dynamic, thermal system design, manufacturing processes, machine design, quality control, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CamWorks, Mechanic's of materials, and Programmable logic Controller(PLC).
