Projects included: - Tracking compliance with international lender performance standards. - Establishing hazardous materials reporting, spill prevention planning, storm-water permitting, and waste management programs across 200 domestic utility and commercial-scale projects. - Worked with state and federal regulators to define waste disposal practices for solar panels.

Toronto, Canada Area

First Quantum acquired Inment Mining. I worked with operating sites to resolve compliance and technical challenges. I developed and implemented an environmental management system, established and lead an assurance auditing program, coordinated an internal best practice network, developed and managed corporate goals and KPIs, and refined our data collection and internal performance indicators. All these programs significantly improved performance at each of our global operations.

Greater Boston Area

Initially I was the Environmental Manager for our multi-business campus in Worcester. We established an ISO management system, recycling programs, and obtained the Excellence Award from the Commonwealth. I was then promoted to Director EHS for our North American network of EHS managers to support 80 locations. I was also Director of EHS for our global Abrasives business, including developing an EHS organization, defining our EHS strategy, and leading key technical initiatives. Injury rates were reduced 50% during my tenure.
