Served as Chief of Supply of the only USAF Wholesale/Depot Nuclear Weapon Related Material (NWRM) nuclear storage facility (NSF).Leads 18 personnel on Positive Inventory Control of 725 million dollars worth of NWRM for the #1 priority of US Air Force enterprise. Manages receipts, storage, issue, and distribution of over 10 thousand line items. Supervises mission support, repair, demilitarization for 31 units and contractors. Manages all Care of Supplies in Stock (COSIS) transaction and physical inspection. Performs traditional and RFID inventories, manages 160 thousand square foot classified facility. Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies DOD, USAF and DLA policies and regulations. Performs self inspections producing comprehensive reports and corrective actions. Creates Supply NWRM discrepancy reports by identifying, reporting and resolving problems such as catalog identification, classification discrepancies. Conducts causative research for Item, Program and Equipment managers.Manages control of material issued to maintenance for repair/DEMIL, saving $1.4M. Performs a variety of property disposal, control and advisory activities such as advising on the destruction, demilitarization (Demil) and its applicable requirements. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with local and field units. Researches, interprets, applies quantitative and qualitative methods during root cause analyses, and applies DoD, USAF, AFMC policies/guidelines and procedures to local work operating practices in the absence of such. Establishes policies for mission management and decision support information to ensure optimal operation of the AF Supply Chain. Justifies and develops $25K O&M budget and manages spend plans, redirects priorities, enforces fiscal requirements, and defends programmed funds for mission accomplishment. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
